Artiste internationalement reconnu, Jean-François Larrieu (d)écrit à travers son œuvre picturale une histoire universelle, à la fois humaniste et environnementale : une histoire de Vies.
Depuis plusieurs années, il s’interroge sur le rôle de l’art et la nécessité de le rendre accessible à tous. Comment faire profiter tout un chacun de la puissance, de l’universalité de l’art ?
Sa liberté picturale et intellectuelle ne peut donc se contenter de la toile pour s’exprimer. Larrieu souhaite aujourd’hui porter son langage sur une multiplicité de supports et partager ce message optimiste que la beauté est partout autour de nous, et qu’il est du devoir de tous de l’admirer et de la respecter.
L’artiste a ainsi choisi de développer une collection d’œuvres et d’objets d’art en édition limitée. Son objectif : faire entrer la poésie et la joie de sa peinture dans le quotidien du plus grand nombre.

Arbres de vie, envol de papillons, faune et flore sous-marines, cités du monde entier… Retrouvez-y une sélection des thématiques préférées de Jean-François Larrieu. La boutique propose ainsi 21 œuvres en format digigraphie. Il s’agit de tirages d’œuvres d’art originales effectués en série limitée (15 ou 200 exemplaires en fonction du format). Chaque digigraphie est numérotée et signée par l’artiste. Un poinçon en garantit l’authenticité.

Now internationally reputed, Jean-François Larrieu has narrated through his pictorial work a universal story both humanistic and friendly to the environment: a story of Lives.
For years now he questions the role of art in our society and the urge to make it accessible to everybody. Why everybody could not enjoy the power and benefits of art?
His pictorial and intellectual freedom cannot be restricted to the canvas. Today Larrieu wants to express his language through a variety of media and share an optimistic message that beauty is everywhere and that we have to admire and respect it.
The artist has chosen to develop a collection of artworks and art objects in a limited edition. His objective is to let the poetry and joy of his painting enter the daily life of as many people as possible.

Life trees, flying butterflies, undersea fauna and flora, cities… Find a selection of Larrieu’s favourite themes. You can find 21 digigraphy artworks on the shop. A digigraphy is a print of an original artwork in a limited edition (15 or 200 copies depending on the format). Every digigraphy is numbered, stamped and signed by the artist.
On the occasion of the launch of the website, the 15 first clients of a digigraphy will receive a beautiful silk scarf inspired by Larrieu’s work on the ocean.
